How to get here


By car, distances in km.	Environment.

By car:
Ferries: Rostock-Trelleborg, Travemünde-Trelleborg, Kiel-Göteborg, Frederikshavn-Göteborg or by Fehmarn-Kopenhagen-Malmö (the Öresund bridge).
Motorway E6 to Göteborg, then national highway 45 to Grums. Don´t continue to Karlstad, but follow the highway 45 direction Sunne, Mora. After 30 km turn right, at the sign "Frykåsen Hpl" (Hpl means railway stopping place). After about 2 km you cross the railroad and immediately after that turn left (Sign: Getmossen) Be careful - it is a new road with very sharp curves, so don´t drive too fast. After some 2 km you turn right to Getmossen and after a few hundred meter uphill you see the sign "RID i GETMOSSEN"! Britt and Gunnar live in the red house at the top. If you turn left in front of the house you can park where you find the P-sign.
If you come from the north on the highway 45, you turn left at the sign "Bäckebron", turn left at the timber yard, pass the saw-mill and cross the railway. Directly after the crossing you turn right and follow the signs about 3 km, then as above.

By train:
You can go by train to Karlstad or Kil. From there you take the "Fryksdalsbanan" direction Sunne, Torsby and descend in Frykåsen or Bäckebron. There are also long-distance busses. Descend at the stop "Bäckebron". If you arrive by train or bus, tell us in advance so that we can pick you up.

By bus:
To travel to Sweden by bus is cheap and quite convenient. Säfflebussen and Swebus have daily tours from Copenhagen to different places in Sweden.

By plane:
The fastest route is the connection over Copenhagen to Karlstad. Many cheap companies fly from different airports in Europe to Oslo or Stockholm, from where you can continue by bus or train to Karlstad.
